It's weird having a younger brother, you're supposed to guide them through life choices when you don't even know how you got through them yourself.
During our younger years, we had a very clichéd brotherly relationship. Fighting with each other one minute, then playing video games without any issues the next.
That's all changed in the last 6 months or so. You see, we've recently started spending more time together. Probably from when our parents separated (I know, super depressing).
Anyway, we've recently bought unlimited cards for our local cinema. I never realised that my brother was such a detail orientated kid until we started going. Before, I just thought that he liked the generic action movies. Never have I been so wrong! From the lighting, to the musical scores and then to the camera angles, he picks up on everything. It provides us with some rather interesting conversations.
I suppose I'm saying that I'm grateful for how close the pair of us have become this year. I finally feel like the brother that I should have been when I was younger.
I'm sorry if I've waffled on a bit, I just had to write this down whilst it was fresh in my mind (currently writing this whilst walking home from seeing 'IT Chapter 2').
I hope you've all enjoyed this little post and I hope to be back soon.
